A Fireside Christmas Fireside Dinner Theatre, Ft. Atkinson, WI
This season they return to the tradition that has made The Fireside the number one choice for Christmas entertainment for hundreds of thousands of people from around the nation and around the world as they present an all new edition of A Fireside Christmas. It’s their mission each holiday season to bring you a show that will re-kindle the true Christmas spirit in all of us. Through songs, stories, and dances – both traditional and original – they commit to capturing the very heart and essence of the holiday season. Each show is new and exciting, with gorgeous new costumes and sets, new songs and dancing, and new ways to tell the familiar stories of the season. What never changes is their faithfulness to the traditions and memories of this most joyous of seasons. Prior to the performance, we will be treated to Fireside’s gourmet luncheon consisting of a winter wonderland salad (strawberries, mangoes, candied pecans, and feta cheese on arugula and kale glazed with raspberry vinaigrette), freshly baked breads from the Fireside’s artisan bakery, beef and bird (boneless beef short rib slowly braised in a red wine beef stock) accompanied by chicken waterford, a skinless breast dipped in buttermilk and egg, lightly breaded, sautéed, topped with corned beef, caramelized leeks and Jarlsberg swiss cheese on an Irish mustard sauce, served with whipped acorn squash sweetened with maple syrup and brown sugar, fresh green beans, and for dessert a trilogy of cheesecakes – Bailey’s Irish cream, key lime and malted milk tiger butter. From the beautifully decorated dining room, the delightful gift shoppes and heartwarming performance, you are guaranteed to leave with the spirit of Christmas. Fee includes motorcoach transportation, meal and performance.

Celebrate Christmas Together Brookfield & Riverside, IL
Let’s celebrate Christmas together over a delicious meal and then take in the holiday lights at the zoo. Our first stop is at highly rated Chew Chew restaurant, featured on WTTW, ABC, and in Chicago Magazine. Dinner will be served in the dining room with its subtle, but delightful, train references throughout, as well as lovely holiday decorations. You will have your choice of 1) trout picatta (butterflied rainbow trout, lemon-caper butter, wine, hazelnuts, herbed wild rice, spaghetti vegetables), 2) nutty chicken (macadamia nut-crusted chicken breast, broccolini, mashed sweet potato, mango butter, fruit salsa), or 3) spaghetti bolognese (beef & pork tomato ragu, applewood bacon, red wine, roasted corn, pecorino romano, basil), all served with fresh garden salad and Christmas bread pudding with brandy crème anglaise. Non-alcoholic beverages are included, but you may wish to order a cocktail to toast the season! After our meal, we will board our bus and head over to Brookfield Zoo. Although the zoo will be closed to the public, we will ride our bus through the zoo paths to see the beautiful holiday lights – and perhaps an animal or two! Fee includes transportation, dinner and zoo tour.
