Galos Salt Cave Chicago, IL

Despite the fact that it’s January & cold, we’ll relax and feel as refreshed as if we spent three days on the beach! Salt caves are popular in Eastern Europe, especially Poland, and are renowned for their therapeutic effects of natural sea salts. We’ll visit the Galos Salt Cave, a salt environment complete with stalactites, where we’ll relax on lounge chairs with salt as fine as sand under our feet and listen to the sound of ‘waves’ and soothing music. Breathe in the air that is intensely saturated with iodine and salt, which is said to help inflammation and stimulate the immune system. After our 45-minute session in the ‘maritime microclimate,’ we’ll have a lunch buffet at the Jolly Inn, featuring 24 home cooked dishes, including a meat carving station, pierogies, potato pancakes, vegetables, salad & fruit bar, and sweet table. Our final stop will be Montrose Food Mart & Deli, a polish grocery store with more than 22 years reputation for excellence, quality and value. Fee includes transportation, salt cave session and lunch buffet.
