Santa Rosa, CA. ~ Sebastopol winegrowers Terri and John Bal- letto, whose land stewardship and dedication to community have made them respected leaders in agriculture, education and philan- thropy, are being honored by the Santa Rosa Junior College AgTrust for their many contributions to So- noma County. The Ballettos and their incred- ible legacy as farmers, vintners, community leaders and benefac- tors will be celebrated at the SRJC AgTrust AgStravaganza on No- vember 5 at SRJC’s Shone Farm near Forestville. The Ballettos own and operate Balletto Vineyards & Winery and farm more than 600 acres of vineyards in the Russian River Valley. They hold leader- ship positions in organizations that build community and promote and protect Sonoma County’s $4 bil- lion agriculture industry. The SRJC AgTrust AgStravagan- za will include tributes to Terri and John Balletto, a reception featur- ing Sonoma County wine and food followed by a catered dinner and a live auction. The benefit gala, open to anyone interested in honoring the Ballettos, will raise money to support the naming of a wine tast- ing room for Terri and John Bal- letto at Shone Farm.

In addition to Meiers’ grand-prize winnings, her primary grocer, G&G Supermarket, was also awarded $10,000 to donate to a charity of its choice, Redwood Empire Food Bank.

Beginning October 1, 2015, three recipes were awarded first-, second-
