Horoscopes August 2016

by Yerevan readingsbyyerevan@gmail.com Aries (3/21 - 4/20)

In whatever line of work you are currently involved in there is a growing theme of re- structuring and organization taking place. There may also be a strong focus on health and hygiene. This month you could be con- sidering taking on a teacher role or reas- sessing your current position of leadership. Overall you could be in a phase of fluctuat- ing between seeking social interaction and space to yourself as you sort things out.

Taurus (4/21 - 5/20)

If your energy is depleted the first half of the month it may be an indication to go back to a particular source restores you. Trust your instincts in what seems like an unsure situ- ation, which could involve deeper levels of commitment. Maybe you just want to be free for awhile? This is a time to get really clear on one or two of the goals you have set for yourself this year. It would be a great month to travel and engage in artistic pursuits.way.

Gemini (5/21 - 6/20)

Are you getting cold feet about something, feeling iffy, or afraid of success? You might be reminded of the intentions you made to yourself about a year ago. On one hand, you may need to forgive someone who hurt you. On the other, you could be looking at breaking a long standing self-sabotaging habit - especially one that blocks your con- fidence, efficiency and progress. After this, you will no longer be the bearer of family woes and weaknesses.

Cancer (6/21 - 7/22)

Even if at first the opposite of these things seem true, the glass is only half full, the party is just getting started, the best is yet to come. You may have to tap in to a deeper kind of faith in yourself this month to make it through the challenges you are faced with. You CAN do this. Don’t let the appearance of lack, judgment or rejection hold you back. Keep your eye on the prize. Sweep away the clutter, enjoy the humor, and those doubts will begin to disappear.

Leo (7/23 - 8/22)

Things are moving very swiftly for you all of the sudden. Your popularity is also on the rise. Messages, offers, proposals of many sorts are coming your way. Someone could be coming on very strong, likely in a roman- tic way but possibly in a less favorable way. What to do, what to do!? You might actually have a hard decision to make that takes all month to figure out. This is just the begin- ning - the rest of this year is also packed for you.

Virgo (8/23 - 9/22)

Your special gifts are highlighted now - both those that you were born with and those being delivered to you. This is a time that supports the renewal of commitments made to yourself, a certain project, or relationship. This month your nerves could be very sensi- tive to your surroundings, moods both high and low. Pamper yourself and take extra care of your health. You’re in a lucky phase financially and with family members.

Libra (9/23 - 10/22)

What you’ve long been seeking you have fi- nally found, or in some way who has sought after you has finally found you. Whatever the case may be, and however they appear, you are on a major manifestation curve - the things you touch could be turning to “gold”. You’re also probably working hard, so just be careful not to overtax yourself, mentally, physically or both. Creative collaborations are highlighted. Don’t be afraid to take time-outs.

Scorpio (10/23 - 11/22)

The time has come to think radical new thoughts, break out of your own mold, dis- rupt your normal routines. As the month begins you could feel as though you are wandering in a wilderness of sorts, in search of anything from forms of life to wa- ter, wisdom or love. Soon enough, with your sheer power and magnetism you will be drawing things and people to yourself with incredible speed. Hopefully you’ll be ready when it all comes!

Sagittarius (11/23 - 12/21)

Have you been listening to your intuition lately or trying to ignore signals and guide- posts? Some things are hard to see or hear, and sometimes you want to take care of things without anybody in your way slowing you down. Just remember your worth, treat- ing yourself with the same level of respect you would a loved one. Perhaps simplify some hectic corner of your life before it ex- plodes. Spend a bit of time cherishing life’s sweet moments.

Capricorn (12/22 - 1/19)

Being able to identify your feelings and re- solve the emotions that unsettle oneself can be a skill. This skill may prove invaluable to you this month. Although you might be fo- cused on special goals, it would be wise to equally build upon your reservoirs of energy, health, and vitality. You are finally entering a period of personal gain and prosperity after months of effort, labor, and struggle. You could be traveling to, through, or over water.

Aquarius (1/20 - 2/18)

Look before you leap, this month! You could be moving through relationship conflicts and awkwardness at home or with friends. It may come to a sort of truce or compromise on both sides in order to keep the peace. Honestly might not be comfortable right now but it will be far more effective in the long run. Purification of body, mind, and spirit are advised at this time, as is reevaluation, and preparation for the great undertakings ahead of you.

Pisces (2/19 - 3/20)

You’ve been in a process this year that has centered around conquering inner demons and healing very old wounds. Although the intensity has waned, you could still be feel- ing raw in some ways. August is a great month to addressing lingering health issues. Regarding work and career, you may need to establish stronger boundaries that enable you to stay focused on the task at hand. This is also a key time to promote your skills and services.

for women serving throughout the armed forces! In today’s atomic age of “mutual- ly assured destruction”, Don cred- its the existence of atomic bombs for the absence of major world wars.

JOKES & Humor # 6

Mary was having a tough day and had stretched herself out on the couch to do a bit of what she thought to be well-deserved complaining and self- pitying.

While he believes smaller wars will continue, as “war is an extension of politics and there is no cure for the politics of war,” he does believe that peace on a wider scale is indeed possible. He also believes we have wonderful gener- als and admirals in the U.S. Armed Forces today. Looking to the future, Don is impressed with today’s Millennial generation overall. They are aware of the challenges facing them, and are working hard to meet the chal- lenges head-on.

They are pursu-

ing higher education which is very expensive, accepting the need for two-earner households, and caring for their elders without the benefi t of family support systems that ex- isted in the past.

Throughout his military career, Don always felt supported by his wife, Evie, and his two daughters, and now also by his extended fam- ily in retirement. Life is good. Thank you for your service to our Country, General McClanahan!

some people are a part of your

history, but not a part of your destiny.” Steve Maraboli

She moaned to her mom and brother, “Nobody loves me ... the whole world hates me!”

Her brother, busily occupied playing a game, hardly looked up at her and passed on this encouraging word: “That’s not true, Mary. Some people don’t even know you.”

T e world record California Yel- lowtail is a stout 92.1 pounds and was caught out of San Diego Cal- ifornia in 2004 on a rod and reel, not a handline! T at’s a whole lotta Yellowtail to mess with. Hopefully the tuna and the warm water stay close and we can catch some more exotic species.
