After graduating from Grinnell College, he was accepted into the University of Florida, College of Law in January of 1976. While in law school, Williams made the Dean’s list twice, and received the Book Award in his Federal Practice course.
In 1978, Williams graduated from the University of Florida College of Law, and successfully completed the Florida Bar exam. In 1979, Williams became the first African American Assistant State Attorney in Volusia County (Daytona Beach), where he served three years before relocating to Tampa, Florida. From 1983-1985,, Ricky served as Assistant State Attorney in Hillsborough County, before going into private practice in 1985. Upon opening his law practice, Ricky practiced criminal defense (State and Federal), as well as personal injury law until 1998. During that same year, Williams was disciplined by the Florida Bar. Williams successfully completed his suspension and was eligible to reapply to the Florida Bar, but chose not. Williams and a colleague opened a medical center, the “Tree of Life”, and for five years, they specialized in treating automotive related injuries. This business venture combined the medical and legal experiences and spun the idea for Williams to launch a legal and medical referral service,”CallRickyAskRicky.”
Williams’ experience and vast legal knowledge of the law coupled with his state-wide network of attorneys positioned him to assist individuals in identifying the right attorney for their immediate need; whether it’s personal injury (auto accident), wrongful death, workers’ compensation, social security disability, or criminal law. 1-844-361-RICK (7425)

Colleen Campbell was born to a single mother and grew up with her grandparents in Jamaica, West Indies prior to joining her mother in the United States in 1985. She worked (including late night pizza deliveries) her way through Miami Dade Community College and the University of Florida, during the Emmett Smith-Steve Spurrier era. Financial shortfalls delayed her entrance to Meharry Medical College by one year. Spearheaded by a loan from a family friend combined with scholarships and other loans she was able to pay her tuition while she continued to soar academically, graduating with “Highest Honors” and earning a lifetime membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
On June 14, 1997 she and Lieutenant Dennis Drummond, a Navy pilot, were married. He was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base; she was assigned residency training in internal medicine at Oklahoma University. Their next military assignment was in Corpus Christi, Texas where they conceived two beautiful children – Duane and Brianna. Dennis left the Navy for Jet Blue Airways and the family relocated to Florida in 2000.
Dr. Campbell first joined a local physician group as a partner, then became an employee physician but quickly realized that she needed her own autonomy and independence. With much help from Dennis, who has dual roles as office administrator and pilot, they continue to successfully deliver quality healthcare in Tampa, maintaining two offices and commanding a team of 7 employees. Much of their free time is devoted to their children's activities, baseball and softball. Stressing the need for balance Dr. Campbell assures, “I still get to occasionally enjoy plays and concerts.”
