Page 14 Charity event in aid of DEBRA
We are organising an event for Piel De Mariposa (Butterfly Children). This is to take place at Guardamar Beach at 12 midday on Dec 26th 2016.
We urgently need volunteers to help organise this event which we hope will be a huge success. Our aim is to raise as much money as we can through sponsorship of individuals and through corporate sponsors donations.
Café Bar Tabarca on Guardamar sea front are preparing a special Menu Del Dia for the event.
Fancy dress will be optional and we want to encourage as many people as possible to join in.
We hope to make it a huge fiesta with an outside radio broadcast, special guests and dignitaries from the Town Hall, Police and Casino all being invited. We also hope to have local entertainers present to entertain the crowd during and after the event. If anyone knows a children’s entertainer who would be willing to donate their time then please get in touch.
Participants will only need to DIP - swimming is encouraged but with the tides we are aware of the dangers and so up to the waist is all we ask!
We have a working group each month on the first Tuesday of the month. The next meeting will be on July 5th at 1pm in Victoria’s Tearoom and Bar, Calle Picasso no5, Almoradi. All volunteers welcome.
