“You may begin to feel more energetic but, on the down
side, aversions to certain foods or smells may be kicking off!”
Week 13
Baby: Baby's reflexes for sucking, swallowing and breathing will have begun, and it will be experimenting with facial muscles for frowning and pouting!
You: Your tummy will probably have started to 'stick out' making it obvious that you're pregnant.
Tip:Now's the time to start thinking about whom you want to
tell...and how you plan to do it!
Week 14
Baby: Baby may begin to move around in the amniotic fluid, creating fluttering sensations in your tummy.
You: You may begin to feel more energetic but, on the down side, aversions to

certain foods or smells may be kicking off!
Tip: If you fancy a bit of last-minute travelling, now's the ideal to start planning. You CAN go later on, but the appeal of long-distance in particular tends to fade the further on you go in your pregnancy.
Week 15
Baby: Baby's finger nails are developing and it may actually have started to suck its thumb. Its weight may increase dramatically this week too!
You: Your heart is doing a lot more than it used to and it has a lot more blood to plump so your skin may take on an extra glow!
Tip:Take some sensible exercise on a regular basis - this doesn't mean that you
suddenly take up long distance running if, to date, you've been a couch potato!
Week 16
Baby: Te downy fetal hair called lanugo is growing on baby's body. Fingers and toes will be waving about!
You: You should certainly be feeling the fetal movements known as 'butterflies' by now. How wonderful!
Tip: Don't be a martyr! If you're feeling tired, let people help and let them make allowances for you! Make the most of it!
Week 17
Baby: Baby's fat will be starting to form. By the time it's born, fat will account for two thirds of its body weight.
