by signing up for a second year as Glasgow Chamber’s International Trade Partner. Tis support enables the Chamber to deliver a range of activities to help its members and the wider business community grow their businesses globally. Elaine Rodger, Head of


International Trade Development at the Chamber, said: “Glasgow Chamber was built on international trade and today it remains one of our key objectives. For many years we have offered a quality documentation and certification service, and more recently we have been making it a priority to add value to this service through international trade events and training. We share the Clydesdale Bank’s focus on supporting the ambitions of local firms to take advantage of the many opportunities a global market offers and we are delighted to be building on the solid partnership platform we developed over the last year. Behind the Scenes International


In 2016 we are introducing a series of four Behind the Scenes events which will have an international focus. Tese events will include a visit to a member business which is currently trading globally so that other members can obtain first-hand knowledge of the business engaging in international trade. Tese events will inspire other member businesses to get involved in trading in new territories or to take the first steps to trading globally.
