Petaluma, CA. ~ Cinnabar Theater continues its 43rd sea- son and is proud to announce the opening of a West Coast Premiere - Mahalia Jackson: Just as I Am.

Opening night

is New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2015 and will run through January 24, 2016. Widely re- garded as the greatest gospel singer of all time and one of the most powerful voices ever, Jackson’s rise to fame and her struggles and triumphs in the midst of segregated America are the subject of this exuberant and invigorating musical. The show is conceived, writ-

ten and stars Sharon Scott. This powerful musical is a tribute to the greatest gospel singer of all time and one of the most pow- erful voices ever as we’ve said. At times hilarious, at times poignant, Scott’s musical is a testament to the indomitably of the human spirit.

“Sharon

Scott is … a pyrotechnic per- sonality with all the dazzle of a Fourth of July fireworks dis- play.”~ NY Times. For more information on Mahalia Jackson: Just as I Am: Media contact: Diane Drag- one, Diane@CinnabarTheater. org or 707-763-8920

A man’s age is something impressive, it sums up his life: maturity reached slowly and against many obstacles, illnesses cured, griefs and despairs overcome, and unconscious risks taken; maturity formed through so many desires, hopes, regrets, forgotten things, loves. A man’s age represents a fine cargo of

experiences and memories. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
