A SPECIAL THANKS TO THE FLORIDA DAIRY FARMERS FOR THEIR CONTINUED SPONSORSHIP OF MERRY MOO I AND MERRY MOO II – our milkable cow traveling exhibits. They sponsored a complete over- haul of the trailer this year with new graphics. Be sure to sign up to have Merry Moo at your Fair next year. The Board voted to change the process for reserving the exhibit – there will now be a $300 flat fee for borrowing the trailer. For this fee, the trailer will be delivered and set up for you – thanks to Tom Umiker. There will no longer be a $1,000 deposit, just a flat fee of $300. Check out our website at www.floridafairs.org under ”General Info” for the link to reserve and pay for the exhibit under “Traveling Exhibits.”

THANK YOU FLORIDA DAIRY

FARMERS!

A special thanks to Dan West for sending in this photo of

Dr. Thomas P. Chaires who served as the President of the Florida Federation of Fairs in 1957-58.

This unique cup was from the 1906 Tampa State Fair and was donated to the Manatee County Fair which they proudly display in their office.

Congratulations to Miranda and Steve Muir on the arrival of their son, Wrisley Andrew Junior Muir who was born on April 30th, 2015. He is a precious gift from God and our Fair Family wishes Miranda and Steve the best of luck with their newest addition to our “Fair Family!”
