YPI Update The Young Professional’s

Initiative wrapped up a great “Fair” year with sev- eral activities at this year’s FFF Convention. From dinner at the local Saltwa- ter Cowboys to another fun scavenger hunt, it was wonderful to see so many young individuals involved and learning more about our industry. Perhaps more exciting are the group’s plans for
2015-2016. After a brainstorming session, they are looking forward to working with incoming President Tom Umiker in hopes of serving local communities and charities with various service projects. Watch your inboxes for all the details yet to come. To continue their work and make future projects successful, Florida’s YPI asks that everyone contin- ue to help us spread the word and encourage those under 40 to get involved. Additionally, anyone who would like to be on the YPI email distribution list should send their contact information to Miranda Muir at
miranda@osceolacountyfair.com. The Young Professional’s Initiative began as an
effort to encourage the next generation to get in- volved, network, and continue the traditions while enhancing the future of our fantastic industry.
