When Victoria Melody was competing in beauty pageants for a previous show, a hairdresser advised her that she needed hair extensions. Freaked out by wearing a piece of somebody else’s body she set out on an extraordinary adventure to find out just whose hair this was. Tere’s a real life baddie, a saviour in the shape of a Bollywood financier, the most expensive wedding to have ever taken place, a Celebrity Big Brother contestant, forensic crime scene investigations and hair, lots of hair. Tis is the story of the search for three unrelated strangers from different parts of the world connected by DNA. Tis event is Pay What You Can but space is limited so get tickets ahead of time.

Jeff Koons’controversial art continues to raise as many questions as it answers. Is it art if you have other artist making the actual art but you’ve come up with the concept? Is it art if it’s vacuum cleaners in a glass box? Is it art if it’s a collection of baseballs? What IS art and what is worth looking at from an artistic perspective? So many questions. In any case, he makes some of the most valuable sculptures in the world. Tis is modern art at its most kitsch, playful and colourful. Te Koons Collaborative, a team of 16-25 year olds, have been working on various events to coincide with this exhibition; they’ve even put together a Koons float for the Lord Mayor’s Procession this year. Challenge your opinions and head down to see these sculptures in the flesh, so to speak; it’s on until 6th September in Norwich Castle and tickets are only £6. Tis is the only chance to see Koons’ work in the UK in 2015 so soak up the culture, man.
