the honey whiskey trio

Friday, APR 10 @ 8pm at the Community Recreation Center Inside Stage 30875 Rancho Vista Road, Temecula, CA 92592

The Honey Whiskey Trio explores harmony in folk, bluegrass, and any

melody that catches the ear. Through their powerful, yet sweet harmonies, body percussion, haunting melodies, and vitality on stage, Honey Whiskey Trio captivates and moves audiences. These storytellers in song found their roots in vocal jazz, all singing in

Pacific Standard Time, CSU Long Beach's award winning vocal jazz ensem- ble, though at different times. This foundation in jazz gives Honey Whiskey Trio an inherent flexibility to their sound, allowing them to change and adjust their tone to best fit the mood of each song. In 2013, after singing together for only five months, Honey Whiskey Trio

won the Harmony Sweepstakes National Competition, also winning Audi- ence Favorite at both the Regional and National sweepstakes. www.honeywhiskeytrio.com Tickets $25 at www.temeculatheater.org.

sharing a secret...or re- living the sweet inno- cence of youth with Charlie Brown and Snoopy. The Perform- ing Arts Departments of Mt San Jacinto College, San Jacinto campus is presenting the Broad- way classic musical, YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN, directed by MSJC Theatre Arts Chair and Broadway actress, Shezwae Powell. The production features the celebrated characters of Charles Schultz's comic strip in hilarious comic sequences along with high-energy song-and-dance routines, creating non-stop entertainment for adults and children alike. The musical snapshots Schultz at his best: Schroeder and Lucy at the piano, Charlie Brown and Lucy at the psychiatry booth, Linus with his blanket, Snoopy with his supper dish, and the whole gang at the baseball game. There are six fantastic performances, April 10, 11, 17, and 18th (Friday, Sat- urday) @7:30pm and April 12 & 19th (Sunday) @2:30pm. All performances are general admission seating, with doors opening thirty minutes prior to curtain. Tickets can be reserved by calling (951) 487-3790. The theater is lo- cated at 1499 North State Street, San Jacinto. Regardless of age, everyone must have a ticket, sit in a seat, and be

able to sit quietly through the entire production. Out of courtesy to our actors and other paying audience members, please do not bring children under the age of 5 or babes in arms to college theater productions.
