Liangmianzhen Paper Products to expand tissue-making capacity


Toscotec for its mill at Liuzhou in Guangxi province for start-up in the second half of 2015. The paper maker is part of the LMZ Group, which was originally established in 1941 as a group of private soap manufacturers. Listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since 2004, it operates in cosmetics, paper, fine chemicals, medicine and real estate. The two Modulo-Plus ES

lines are based on Toscotec ES concept, an Energy Saving option that is said to guarantee, according to configuration, a substantial reduction in energy consumption during the tissue drying process. The value of the


order was not revealed. The two tissue lines are


designed to operate at 1,500 m/ min and to produce 65 tons per day of high-quality toilet and facial tissue from pre dried virgin pulp and slush pulp


produced by LMZ. The order includes two


crescent former machines, each equipped with a TT SYD-15FT (4.57m) and a double press configuration, a Milltech Steam Heated Hood, Toscotec stock


Pulp drying capacity to be increased at Iggesund mill


Iggesund Paperboard has ordered equipment from Andritz to upgrade the TM4 pulp drying line at its Iggesund mill in Sweden to increase capacity from currently 230-260 tons to 325 tons per day. Start- up is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2015. Andritz will provide a package


that includes a new shoe press and steam blow box, an overhaul of the airborne dryer, and safety improvements. The capacity increase in the drying area will support Iggesund


Paperboard’s goal to raise its total pulp capacity from 370,000 to 420,000 tons per year. In addition, the Andritz upgrade


will enhance production stability and further reduce energy costs. Iggesund Paperboard is part of the Holmen Group and Europe’s
