Emma Brinkman is a junior studying nursing at Midwestern State University. A native of Carrollton, Texas, Emma is the daughter of Marshall Dorn
Brinkman, a trailer mechanic for Central Freight Lines.
Jose Camacho of Crowley, Texas, bal- ances school with a full-time job at Cummins Southern Plains. He is a junior studying operations and supply chain
management at Tarrant County College.
Brandy Cao is studying dental hygiene at University of Texas Health Science Center – Houston. She has attended school while working at Lone Star
College. During her most recent spring break, Brandy went to Guatemala to volun- teer dental care.
Ryan Chism of Midlothian, Texas, comes from a trucking fami- ly spanning three generations. His father, Tim Chism, is a dispatch manager for Frozen Food Express.
Currently Ryan is a junior at Sam Houston State University studying kinesiology. He plans to attend graduate school and work as a physician’s assistant.
Brooke Clark of Arlington, Texas, is a two-time recipient of the TXTA Foundation scholarship. She, along with her grandfather, grandmother, uncles and mother have all
worked for Central Freight Lines.
After graduating from University of Texas at Arlington last year, she is now a first year graduate student at Texas Woman’s University.
Brooklyn Cook graduated from Rockwall High School in June and moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma State
University. Through PALS (Peer Assisted Leadership), she tutored students at area elementary school and confirmed her desire to become a teacher.
Brooklyn is the daughter of Nick Cook, the chief information officer for Frozen Foods Express.
Marissa Dunn of Poynor, Texas, is in her first year at Trinity Valley Community College. She and her father, Douglas Dunn, have both been employees
of Brookshires Grocery—Marissa as a cashier and her father as a truck driver.
With a passion for art and helping others, Marissa is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in studio arts and plans to get a counselor’s license in art therapy.
Ariel Garcia is a freshman studying science and technology at University of Texas at San Antonio. She graduated from Permian High School
in Odessa, Texas, in June.
Her mother, Liza Mancha, is an adminis- trative assistant at E.L. Farmer & Company.
Audrye Glosson of Liberty Hill, Texas, is a three-time recipient of the TXTA Foundation scholar- ship. A junior at Southwestern Baptist
Theological Seminary where she studies humanities, Audrye is preparing for a six- month international mission trip in the spring.
Audrye’s father, I.V. Glosson, is a driver for E.L. Farmer & Company.
Latrice Hall of Fresno, Texas, is the daughter of Leland Hall, a salesman for Houston Freightliner. During her freshman year at Purdue University, she main-
tained a 4.0 GPA while pursuing a double major in finance and public relations. This is the second consecutive year Latrice has received a TXTA Foundation scholarship.
Ashley Lenart, a three-time TXTA Foundation scholar- ship recipient, has begun her junior year at Texas Tech University with admittance to the
nursing program. A native of Irving, Texas, Ashley is the daughter of Kristina Lenart, an OSD clerk at Frozen Foods Express.
Katy Lunceford of Athens, Texas, gradu- ated from Athens Senior High School in June with 35 college credit hours. Those hours will expedite her study of biology
at University of Texas at Tyler so she can become a physician’s assistant.
Her step-father, Keith Tull, is a terminal manager for Titan Transportation.
Brooke Mangold of Castroville, Texas, is a freshman at Angelo State University. Following a knee injury during a soft- ball game her junior year, Brooke decided to study kinesiology.
