LEADERS OF THE PAC TXTA TruckPAC Committee 2014-2015

that keeps America on the road. It is the essential link in our transportation chain, carrying all things to all corners of the map. TXTA works hard to ensure that all lawmakers and the motoring public under- stand the essentiality of trucking. TXTA’s TruckPAC is one of the pre-
mier vehicles used to ensure such success. The association and its members spend countless dollars and time promoting the industry and addressing specific transpor- tation issues not only affecting bottom lines, but also the livelihood of the entire trucking industry. TruckPAC has grown
exponentially since its inception and now the political clout of the association is robust, well-known and greatly respected under the capitol dome. TXTA’s TruckPAC is one of the top association engineered political action committees in the state ranking in the top 10 percent of all PACs across Texas. TXTA continually promotes safety,
responsibility and efficiency on Texas’ high- ways and gives legislators and motorists an opportunity to learn more about our cap- tains of commerce through safety and edu- cation events like the upcoming Trucking Day at the Capitol on February 18. The association also steps out into the
community to host dinners and visits with legislators and key leaders, providing an opportunity for TXTA members to meet elected officials who work to protect the interests of the trucking industry and small businesses at the Texas State Capitol. This is pertinent for an industry that, as of April 2014, contributed more than 68,490 locally owned businesses in the way of trucking companies to Texas’ economy. The Texas trucking industry is a direct contributor to the Texas Miracle. Thank you to these TXTA members
who help keep that momentum going and help spread the message of Texas trucking.
