ituated in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Bay of Kotor, Porto Montenegro has been

changing the way the industry looks at destination marinas since it opened its doors in 2009. It has now announced that in co-operation with The Superyacht Owner magazine it will play host to The Superyacht Owner’s Summit from 3-4 June, 2015. Bringing together 30 of the

most influential industry CEOs as well as 50 owners, potential owners, charter clients, owners’ representatives, private client bankers, lawyers and wealth officers in the matchless Bay of Kotor, the Summit will discuss the future strategy of the superyacht industry from an Ultra-High-Net- Worth client perspective over two days. Delegates at the event will be able to stay at Porto Montenegro’s newly-opened Regent Hotel or one of the marina’s private residences. Elegant Regent Porto

residences, advanced meeting facilities and the spectacular Regent Spa. The Venetian- style design complements the breathtaking natural beauty of the area and brings truly luxurious accommodation to the 400-berth Porto Montenegro, an exclusive lifestyle destination. Offering guests mainly Mediterranean cuisine with Asian accents, the hotel boasts three in-house restaurants – Dining Room, Library Bar and Gourmet Corner patisserie, which are among the most elegant dining options in Montenegro.

Superyacht Owner’s VIP Lounge at the Monaco Yacht Show in September saw Martin Redmayne, Chairman of The Superyacht Group, and Oliver Corlette, reveal the plans for this special event. For Redmayne, the key is to harness the power of the people in the industry, who really care about the market and want to change things. “We are ready to bring something to the market that could change the future of the industry,” he explained.
