PULSE The Kent & Medway School Sports Magazine

WELCOME TO KENT ANDMEDWAY’S SCHOOL SPORTS MAGAZINE PULSE Foreword

Welcome to the 2nd edition of Pulse, the Kent & Medway primary school sport magazine. We do hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are now ready for another great sporting year ahead. In this edition we are putting you in touch with the partners who actually deliver within your schools, PE specialists, health professionals and the Youth Sport Trust as well as more coverage of the great work going on within your schools.

We’ve also got information relating to OFSTED’s latest findings (with regards to the sport premium), interviews and much, much more which we hope you will find useful.

If your school are trying something different or would like to showcase some of the PE/school sport that you are currently delivering, please contact us and we will come down to see you.

We do hope you enjoy reading ‘Pulse’.

At the Youth Sport Trust, we’re passionate about working with schools to help all young people to achieve their full potential in sport and in life.

We support schools to improve the quality of PE and sport, use it as a vehicle to raise achievement and attainment and engage more young people to get active. We undertake research in the field and develop high quality professional development for teachers and supply resources. We also have a nationally validated quality mark which is recognised by Ofsted.
