 Introduce activities specifically aimed at enabling your most able pupils to achieve high standards in PE and sport.

 Forge links with a wide range of external sports clubs to achieve sustainable ways of engaging all pupils in physical activity and sport

 Work closely with parents and carers and local health agencies to

promote the health and well-being of all pupils, especially those who are overweight or obese

Kent Sport is your County Sports Partnership (CSP) and as such we can put you in contact with local clubs and help try and facilitate links with them.

We also work closely with health agencies, PE consultants, CPD providers and other relevant bodies.

We understand that there are many primary schools whose PE is provided by external sports coaches. One of the services we can provide is to quality assure their teaching of PE or that of the teachers in the school through a PE review looking at planning, delivery and assessment.

We can also offer bespoke professional development opportunities for a school or a cluster of schools. We are offering this service in partnership with KCC, Canterbury Christchurch University and specialist PE Consultants. There is therefore no reduced rate for SLA members but they could use their credits for this service.

PE Quality Assurance visit - Observing minimum of two lessons, discussion with PE Coordinator, report with suggested actions - £600 per day / 12 credits to SLA members.

For any other support in PE (Primary or Secondary) please phone Jayne Bartholomew on 01622 694955 with your

request and a price will be given on demand.
