Haart opens lettings branch in Bedford Haart has


opened a new lettings branch in Bedford, as part of its multi-


million pound national expansion programme. The branch, at 62 St Loyes Street, opened following a £15,000 investment in the premises. Heading up the lettings team


is John Tomsett, who has moved from the Milton Keynes lettings branch. John will be supported by Erroll Thomas, Senior Lettings Negotiator and two additional staff will be recruited. John said, “This is a great opportunity and I am extremely confident that we can quickly establish haart as one of the market leaders in Bedford.”


New director for flagship Fine and Country branch Mike Bidwell has been appointed director at Fine & Country’s new


Cambridge office. Mike has nearly thirty years of estate agency, and has been with the luxury property specialists for the past ten years. Mike will be joined in the flagship Cambridge office by Michael Houlden and Donna Notley. Mike said, “The new office will


offer vendors national marketing exposure and creative property marketing combined with modern technology.”

Financial Director of Savills (L&P), as its new Chief Financial Officer. Allan, a Chartered Accountant and member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, started his career at Deloitte Haskins & Sells (now PWC) after reading Economics at Leeds University. After 10 years he joined the P&O Group as a Financial Director within the shipping division. In 1998 he joined Savills, becoming Finance Director in 2000.
