“I am looking forward to participating in the start of the event. Homelessness in a modern society should not be allowed to occur and I am therefore very pleased to be able to make a positive contribution in this way to the Estate Agency Foundation aims. I must also thank Hayball Cycles of Salisbury for their loan of the tandem on which Bill McClintock and I will hopefully
stay aboard!” Christopher J Hamer, The Property Ombudsman
around the British Isles. You can join them! “We don’t expect you to do the whole of the 3,000 mile circuit of the UK with us,” says Jon, “although some brave souls have already signed up for this. You can participate in one of the 32 stages, organise your own small event or just simply pick a day and cycle to your appointments, all for charity.”
HOW WILL WE RAISE OUR TARGET OF £100,000
We will raise this money by uniting all the national and independent property agents in the UK via social media, messaging, our website, a Blog, a presence at property conferences and support from The Negotiator and PROPERTYdrum. You can sponsor a stage, join the cycle team or organise your own event.
SO HOW ABOUT IT?
We will prove that property agents in the UK can organise themselves for the general benefi t of the community and make a huge diff erence by raising a large sum of money for the homeless charities that the EAF support. Those working in the industry helping in
what will be a national and local event will be motivated and will get to know their community better. By off ering our time and services in this organised charitable cause we will raise the profi le of the UK Property Industry for the better. We may also get fi tter if we join in one of the route stages, or simply cycle to and from work or to all those appointments for a day

“I am delighted to support Jon Cooke in his heroic 2,600 mile cycle ride around England, Scotland and Wales in aid of The Estate Agency Foundation raising funds to support our campaign, ‘Everyone deserves somewhere to call home’. Taking a month off work to undertake this marathon underlines Jon’s commitment to the cause”. Bill McClintock, Chairman, the Property Ombudsman
IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN IN! So far, in addition to the lead team, over 40 cyclists will be taking part in either a few stages, one stage, part of a stage or just a few miles. The idea is that the cycle can attract all levels
of fi tness and cycling ability to make the event suitable for as many agents as possible to take part. Many of the sponsors are also involved – some are cycling, some are organising

comfort breaks at their offi ces and off ering refreshments and cakes etc, some are organising their own mini events when the cycle hits their town. If you have an agency on one of the route stages, why not have a ‘welcome reception’ for the riders? Or join in for the stage? To register your interest in this event please
