JONES LANG LASALLE EXPANDS EXETER TEAM Jones Lang LaSalle has appointed a new planning expert and new member of the office agency team.
Planning consultant Catherine
Baddeley (née Caudwell) will provide comprehensive planning solutions to businesses and individuals in the South West. An experienced planning expert, Catherine’s role will boost Jones Lang LaSalle’s expertise, working with a team of valuers and development surveyors assessing the viability of potential new developments. Since joining, Catherine has worked with clients such as Exeter College, Aggregate Industries and Imerys. She is now working on the redevelopment of Bishops Court Quarry. Graduate Richard Yendle has joined the Exeter office as a consultant in the office agency team following considerable work experience and an internship with King Sturge (which merged with Jones Lang LaSalle last year). He has worked in a variety of departments including the Lease Advisory and Business Space teams as part of the RICS training programme. Richard will continue to work on agency instructions across the South West. Recently he has been involved with the sale of development sites at Trevol Business Park and Elizabeth Hall. TFT MANCHESTER SIGNING Tuffin Ferraby Taylor (TFT), an independent property and construction consultant, has made another appointment
to its Manchester team, building on its success following the

opening of the office in 2011. Paul Wood joins from Savills,
taking the role of Senior Building Surveyor. He will work alongside head of the Manchester office, Hugo Bradley and his team, across all service lines including dilapidations, project Consultancy and TDD. Alan Pemberton, Managing
Partner of TFT, says, “The opening of the Manchester office is part of our five-year growth strategy. The move has proved extremely successful for us and the team is continuing to grow in line with the increase in business from new clients and those existing clients that have expanded their remit with us.”
The TFT Manchester office is one of TFT’s six offices with over 105 partners and staff operating from a network of regional offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Guildford, London and Manchester.
HENRY ADAMS LETTINGS APPOINTS WIGGETT
Henry Adams Lettings Ltd has announce the appointment of Ian Wiggett as Lettings Manager. Ian has
extensive property experience, having worked in the West Sussex residential lettings industry for over a decade. As a Fellow of ARLA and a Fellow of the FNAEA, Ian is well respected in the industry. He holds a Diploma in Residential Lettings and Management (DipRlm) as well as being a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA).

CHESTERTON HUMBERTS APPOINTS JUDY PEARSON Chesterton Humberts has appointed Judy Pearson, a chartered surveyor with experience in both residential
and agricultural valuation and law as an Associate Surveyor in the company’s Stamford office. Judy qualified in 2011 as a
chartered surveyor and in 2012 became a fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. Living on her family’s stud farm in Northamptonshire, Judy has a strong agricultural background and completed a Bsc in Rural Enterprise and Land Management in 2009 at Harper Adams University College. Previously a chartered surveyor at Samuel Rose, Judy has a strong knowledge of agricultural law and is studying for a Graduate Diploma in Law at De Montfort Law School as well as being a member of the Agricultural Law Association. “I am absolutely delighted to be joining Chesterton Humberts”, she says, “It is very exciting to be joining a large and dynamic agency. It is a great opportunity to build on my qualifications with valuable experience.” Harry Baines, Director in

NEW CONSULTANT FOR BENNINGTON GREEN Surveying firm Bennington Green has appointed a new Legal Consultant, Diana Hird, who has over
20 years of experience of construction law gained both in private practice as Partner with Berrymans Lace Mawer and as Legal Counsel (Europe) for Gensler, a global firm of architects and designers.
She handles both contentious and non-contentious work, including all forms of dispute resolution and advice on standard forms of appointment such as
RIBA, FIDIC and JCT. Nigel Soloman, MD for Bennington Green said, “We are delighted to have Diana on board. She has a wealth of experience in the construction industry in litigation, arbitration and mediation for construction professionals and she has advised engineers of various disciplines, architects, surveyors, quantity surveyors and project managers against claims for breach of contract and negligence.”
COLLIERS’ NEW APPOINTMENT The Leeds office of Colliers International has further expanded its Building Consultancy team with the appointment of Jenna Richardson. Jenna, who previously worked with a number of property and construction consultancy businesses in the region, joins Colliers as a Building Surveyor. She has considerable project management expertise and a keen interest in architecture and listed buildings. .
Jenna’s appointment brings the
Colliers team in Leeds to six serving Yorkshire and the North East as well as a number of national clients. It follows a string of successful appointments including major advisory roles for Siemens Real Estate on its new wind turbine plant in Hull, Asda on its national distribution network, Bridon International on its rope manufacturing facilities in Newcastle and Doncaster, Andrew Page on its new distribution warehouse facility in South Yorkshire and maintenance management for Meadowhall Shopping Centre.
