£57k for charities from Mullucks Wells

website Zoopla is again searching for someone to clinch the top spot in The Zoopla Charity Classic 2012, a national golf tournament
hosted annually in aid of Shelter, the charity for the homeless. Northamptonshire-based James – who works as a negotiator for Harrison Murray – was one of 240 players from around the country lucky enough to be selected in a ballot of thousands of applications to secure a place in the recent regional heat. James, a member of
Northampton Golf Club, relished the challenge to get involved but sadly missed out by one point on a place in the grand fi nal round at the world-famous Belfry in September. James said, “It was a
fantastic opportunity not only to raise money for such a great charity, but to play against some superb players from around the region.”
Winkworth sip champagne at Kew
Winkworth has been sponsoring Kew the Music for the second year running and this year’s event, held between July 3rd-8th was even bigger than last year. Winkworth teamed up with a leading champagne brand to host an English country garden themed Champagne garden throughout the event, offering a welcoming environment for guests to sit, relax and watch the show, while the refreshment was provided by the partner
company. This year’s line-up of artists included Status Quo, M People, Pink Martini, James Morrison, Will Young and the Gipsy Kings. Amber Rampley,
