CRL – SIX NEW ACQUISITIONS
Countrywide Residential Lettings has added an additional six businesses to its portfolio, including two major strategic lettings acquisitions, the largest made by the group in recent years. The businesses include the successful city centre businesses LS1 and M1 in Leeds and Manchester, and Alan Harvey Property Services in East London. Located in the heart of Leeds, LS1 was launched over twelve years ago and has become a market-leading business during this time, with Manchester-based M1 attracting similar success following its launch in 2005. LS1 and M1 has a combined portfolio of over 1,000 city centre apartments. Alan Harvey Property Services has centrally located Bow and Leytonstone branches with a combined portfolio exceeding 350 properties.

John Hards, Co-Managing Director, CRL, comments, “I am delighted to welcome the latest additions to Countrywide Residential Lettings and look forward to working with the teams that have also joined us. After three successful acquisitions in the first quarter of the year, we have continued to expand rapidly and when paired with a number of award wins in recent weeks – which highlight the efforts and success of our team – 2012 has been a fantastic year so far.”

Country said, “Plymouth has seen huge investment and regeneration in recent years, especially on the waterfront, resulting in some superb homes being built. Joining the network means that we can more easily attract purchasers from outside the area and show them the unique lifestyle that the Plymouth waterfront offers.”
Julie Hill of The Coastal House in Dartmouth says, “Although Dartmouth is well known outside Devon, having a clear focus of promoting homes by the water will definitely help in making more buyers aware of everything that we have to offer, particularly for boat owners looking for a new home and the sailing community”. Joanna Brooks, partner at Luscombe Maye, said, “Newton Ferrers is synonymous with sailing and by joining the Waterside Network we can combine our local expertise with specialised marketing aimed at those who want not just to keep their boat here, but also have a home in this most picturesque of villages.” Nick Byrne, director of
Waterside Properties added, “I am absolutely delighted to welcome Julie, Joanna, Gareth and their teams, and am especially looking forward to having a very large display of homes in South Devon on our stand at the Southampton International Boat Show later this year. “While we are continually looking to expand the Waterside Network (especially into Cornwall and North Devon), membership is only granted to those estate agents who can demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.”
