Steam – a diverse range of thermal bathing experiences can be created. The caldarium and steam bath deliver short bursts of intense heat and steam, while the tepidarium and laconium are designed for warming up or relaxing over a longer period. Other options include salt rooms and aromatherapy rooms. Experience showers – to cleanse the body after various heat treatments they offer a variety of experience showers. These include special lighting, sound effects and fragrance systems. Rasul ‘mud’ rooms – a tiled steam room and a relaxation area with heated floors, heated loungers and showers. Hammam – a classic Turkish bath incorporating heated tiled massage beds with hot water and drainage for wet massage and foam treatments.

Just one of the many options they offer is the signature Globen Room – a unique Dröm-designed circular structure encased in iridescent glass tiles. Inside, the curved walls
and benches are draped with a beautiful mix of gold and green glass mosaic tiles. This steam (or ice) room shimmers with a constellation of crystal lenses on the fibre optic lights. A central feature downlighter illuminates the glass and mirror shards embedded in the resin floor.
A kneipp hose or ice chute allows the bather to wash or cool down during a user’s experience and a frosted glass door gives extra privacy to this steam room.

HygroMatik, a leading manufacturer of humidification and spa products, has provided steam generators for the refurbishment of the luxurious China Fleet Country Club Spa, Plymouth. Anapos Thermal Spa Equipment by Steamworks recognised HygroMatik’s products for their quality and precision engineering offer durable and easy to maintain solutions for the Spa’s advanced offerings.
The Spa boasts a warm, tiled laconium, aroma steam room, salt steam room, Finnish sauna, feature showers, foot spas, three heated tiled loungers and a deck level spa pool. Visitors enter the Laconium to raise their body temperatures and then can enter the steam rooms or sauna. Showers offer tropical or cold rain settings as well as a cold mist experience, all of which can be chosen with a f ragrance.

HygroMatik C17 CDS steam generator was required for the aroma steam room whilst a
C30 CDS steam generator was installed for the sauna and salt steam room. The accurate engineering of the generators reflects how the exceptional Spa experience customers receive. HygroMatik ensures its systems are always as easy to maintain, precise and hygienic as possible.
The refurbishment meant that Anapos and China Fleet worked closely for 24 months to specify the correct systems for durability, efficiency, and to create the ideal atmospheres for visitors. The contract amounted to almost £250,000 for supply and installation of the state of the art Spa. Full RGB colour changing light systems, MP3 sound systems and essence injection systems were all added throughout the Spa’s many relaxation areas.
