ProPerty internshiPs

Hannah Breckner who worked two intern summers with Edmund Cade, has now joined the company as a

permanent member of staff. Hannah’s intern ships proved to be a great way to secure a good job and now applications are now being accepted for the 2011 programme Over the busy summer months,

London agency Edmund Cude offers a number of well paid internships to penultimate year undergraduate students. Interns come from many disciplines, but must have a strong interest in property and demonstrate exceptional communication and organisational skills. Summer interns participate fully

in the day to day running of the business and can expect to gain experience in negotiating rental prices and liaising with tenants, conducting viewings, co-ordinating property marketing and handling inbound calls. The programme begins with

a intensive training session covering the key elements of communication, organisation and selling skills and then moving on to provide a thorough grounding in lettings legislation. Interns then move on to their allocated offices where they work closely their respective managers. This year the internship

programme will start on 20 June and will last for 10 – 14 weeks. The pay is pretty generous at £350 per week plus a housing allowance if interns don’t live in London. Edmund Cude will also help interns find accommodation if needed. In addition to decent pay and

training, all summer interns are invited to participate in monthly company social events, which typically include bowling, go-karting, karaoke, narrow boat trips, or a night out in the capital. Visit, www.edmundcude.com/ about-us/careers/internships
