Marketing details look professional and consistent.’
Denmark has made the industry volume based and consequently brought costs down. At the forefront of the Scandinavian service is Zentuvo, who have, more or less, ruled for years. They use trained professionals and technology including blimps and helicopters to gain high quality aerial views. (

portals have around 12 pictures each, all edited and when you look at the websites, they really do look sharp and smart, every one of them. I thought, looking at all these sweet Swedish archipelago chalets, that maybe it’s the perfect light in Sweden but my best Swedish friend assures me that not every day is sunny in Scandinavia. In the UK, Rescom Media has been

Photoplan boasts six years of service. Now, more and more agents are seeing the benefit of using a ‘magic’ service. Paul Jaszynski, Photoplan Sales Manager, works with many leading UK agencies and says that Photoplan provides a service that gives the agent peace of mind. “Their marketing details will look professional and consistent across the board, enabling them to focus on gaining more instructions, which is, of course, easier to do when you have such good photographic examples to show potential sellers.” A real advantage is the time saved, no
returning to that house on the edge of your area where the sun disappeared at the crucial moment. Will Lownsborough at Vizzishots, says their service is incredibly cost effective, “When you factor in the expense of someone’s time and petrol to return to a property and do it all again.”
COST OVER BENEFIT Just how cost effective? What are the costs, for example, for a small independent sending in five sets of six property photos per week? The costs, in many instances, are kept down by the bulk of the work being
done overseas, in China, in South Africa, this doesn’t matter to the agent, who simply wants a reasonable price and a rapid service. All the suppliers I spoke to offer packages, discounts, and special rates for larger blocks of work or prepayment. None of them require a contract, which is good, contracts are things that agents can really do without in tough times. Vizzishots say they work to suit the
agent. “It’s pay as you go, a monthly payment, or customers can buy blocks of credit, but if they just want one photo tidied up that is fine by us.” Photoplan offers a variety of packages
starting from £70 (ex VAT) for photos and floorplans and “for letting agents, who don’t need floorplans, we offer a minimum of four photos for £40.” Rescom Media make it simple, with a flat rate of £1 a piece. “Large or small agent, DEA or agent or rival supplier. We always have worked on a volume model and do not punish the small client, we give them the same price as larger clients,” says Jonathan. Rescom has its own production facilities in China, which gives them price advantage and a hugely scalable service.
