booSt For auctIon FInance Auction Finance Limited has boosted its team in a major regional drive for growth. The short term
funding specialist has appointed Stephen Lerman (above) as Regional Development Manager. Stephen has come from Invescor Ltd and he will be responsible for developing relationships with clients and existing and new auction houses in the Midlands and Wales area, as well as partners in the legal, accountancy and banking sectors.

a new DIrector For Select propertIeS Lyn Knapp has joined Taylors Property Services as Director of Select Properties, spearheading the expansion of
this service across Leicestershire’s picturesque Charnwood Forest, Bradgate and Wreake Valley areas. Lyn, who has more than 25 years’ experience in the
Leicestershire property market, will be handling all property appraisals. “Some agents say they specialise in individual homes, yet they use the same valuers for all types of property. I will be personally responsible for appraising property for Select Homes,” says Lyn. Vendors appointing Select Homes to market their property receive a detailed report after Lyn’s appraisal, regular contact calls, monthly written progress reports, professionally produced property details, with a range of photographic options, and floor plans. “Select Homes is not just for very
expensive homes,” says Lyn. “We’re also looking for homes that are out of the ordinary, such as character properties with an interesting story or history.”

GMG Property Services has appointed Paul Boggeln as Head of Residential Product, working across all
products within its residential sales software brands, Vebra and Core. Paul will work closely with the
Development Team to co-ordinate the future direction of residential software products by providing a critical link between the support team, the training team, Vebra and Core’s third party suppliers, as well as their existing and potential clients. Paul has worked as Business
Development Manager for GMG Property Services since October 2009, but prior to this he was Office Manager at Core and Head of Client Services for Propertyfinder. He also oversaw the re-launch of The Media Design House, which is part of GMG Property Services’ portfolio and more recently was seconded to manage Vebra and Core’s Support Team. Tim Summerley, MD, Residential, commented, “Given our on-going investment in additional development resource, there is a
need for a dedicated senior manager to determine, plan and implement our product strategy across our entire portfolio. in 1992 within the Property Development Department of ASDA Stores and their subsidiary company, Gazley Properties. In 1995, he joined the Building Surveying Department within Davis Langdon and Everest specialising in residential and commercial property refurbishment. He joined Dunlop Heywood
Lorenz, Building Consultancy as a senior surveyor in 2001 and progressed to Associate Director where he played an integral part in the Business Development for the Northern region.
