CHANGE” CAM- PAIGN “Seeding Change”
is the theme of the 2014 IAFE Annual Convention, but it is so much more than that. It is a year- long initiative where the IAFE seeks to gather as many stories and videos as possible showcasing how its members are “seeding change” in their respective communities. “Seeding Change” can include partnerships with school districts, com- munity gardens, providing facilities for community activities, food drives, blood drives, toy drives, book drives, scholarships, and all the other various col- laborations that take place throughout the year. We want to inspire all fairs to start seeding change – and for communities to learn about the vital role fairs play. There are two ways to submit your “Seeding Change” stories: submit a grant application or sub- mit a short video. The IAFE wants to reward you for submitting your story. Five $1,000 grants, spon- sored by Etix, will be given away in random drawing of all grant applications, and one $250 grant, also sponsored by Etix, will be awarded monthly to a
