Pantomimes

That time of year is approaching, when actors dress up to give children (and adults!) an unforgettable few hours of fun and laughter.

For so many of us, our first memories include watching a spectacle like none we had ever seen before; one jam-packed with colour, comedy and plenty of screams of “Oh no it’s not!” at the top of our delicately forming voices. There really is nothing like a pantomime to give children their first taste of family entertainment and, in Kent, we are spoilt for choice as you can see.

Aladdin Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury This Christmas, take a magic carpet ride to the Far East with a hilarious, fun-packed family show. The show features an all-

star cast, including Scott Maslen (EastEnders) as Abanazar, CBeebies’ Mister Maker Phil Gallagher (Wishee-Washee), Ben Roddy (Widow Twankey), and comedian Lloyd Hollett (PC Pongo). Phil, Ben and Lloyd are all back by popular demand. Once again, the show will be written and directed by Paul Hendy and brought to you by the same team behind last year’s box office smash- hit, Jack And The Beanstalk (seen by more than 90,000 people).

Aladdin promises to be spectacular, top-quality family entertainment. As well as the talented cast, you can expect lavish West End-style production values and a genuinely funny script. November 28 2014 – January 11 2015
