Arriva and offering a quick ride into town, a cheap fare and free parking at any of the three sites. You can buy tickets from your iphone or Android device. Details are on Arriva’s website. Park and ride services run regularly and directly into the town centre from the car parks at London Road, Sittingbourne Road and Willington Street every day except Sundays and bank holidays. Children under 17 travel free with an accompanying adult.
Night life The town has won accolades for its night life with a range of alcohol and safety initiatives helping to ensure the safety of late-night revellers at its many bars, clubs and cafes. The Lockmeadow complex has several
restaurants, a bowling alley, nightclubs and an eight-screen cinema. There is also Frankie and Benny’s American- style diner as well as the David Lloyd leisure centre. At the Hazlitt Arts Centre in Earl Street, you can enjoy a range of entertainment from popular comedy nights to drama, dance and musicals, and there is never a shortage of live music to be found in Maidstone’s vibrant pubs.
Café society Close to the Hazlitt, with its Graham Clarke art gallery, the town has a wealth of restaurant bars including popular high street chains such as Café Rouge, Prezzo and Wagamama as well as independents such as the The Alley Café.
