elcome to the July issue of Pulp, Paper & Logistics. With many paper mills now taking a vacation or running essential maintenance, those who supply our industry are also
taking a break from promoting their activities at the recent round of trade shows.
Reports from PulPaper in Helsinki were encouraging and the
results appeared to show this. PulPaper 2014 had a final visitor count after three days of 9,428. The exhibition floor hosted 453 exhibitors from 29 countries in 193 stands. The visitors travelled to Helsinki from 72 countries around the world, making it the most international event of its kind.
At the recently re-located Zellcheming, now in Frankfurt,
there were some 169 exhibitors who occupied 5,200 sqm of exhibit space and attracted 1,658 visitors. Dates have already been announced for 2015 which are 30 June to 2 July, again in Frankfurt.
