Canterbury Cathedral Boys Choir All Saints Parish Church, Woodchurch A chance to hear the wonderful voices of the boys of Canterbury Cathedral. The concert will raise funds for Canterbury Oast Trust. Based in Woodchurch, it provides homes, support and training for adults with a learning disability. It also runs a number of social enterprises, including the Rare Breeds Centre and Poulton Woodworks at Aldington. Wine and nibbles provided. 7pm – 8.30pm. Contact Margaret Hanlon on 01233 732684


June 15 Father’s Day, Ightam Moat Enjoy fishing in the moat, beer tasting and games. 11am-3pm.

Japanese Day, Chiddingstone Castle This popular celebration of Japanese crafts and culture can be enjoyed by the whole family with demonstrations throughout the day of kyudo (Japanese archery); tameshigiri and Iai (Japanese sword arts) and the care of bonsai trees. There will also be beautiful ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) to admire and a recital of Japanese music in the Great Hall by musicians dressed in kimono. Children will be able to try their hands at origami and other creative arts in the activity tent. All Japanese Day activities and demonstrations are included free with admission to the Castle and Grounds


June 21-22 Creature Quests, Riverhill Himalayan Garden, Sevenoaks Take time to unearth amazing creatures and habitats around the gardens. How can tiny things be so fascinating? There will be the opportunity to spend a 30 minute session with their wildlife specialist, places are limited so book a time slot on arrival.
