Do you know what I was doing when I was 18? No, neither do I. I Bacardi Breeze-d through my late teenage years without much direction other than our daily mission of trying to steal a Toffee Crisp from the Sixth Form Common Room. (NB: Hewett School, I’ll pay you back now). I spent my 18th birthday puking outside KFC on Prince of Wales and was home – drunk, my Jane Norman attire (it was a LONG time ago) now swivelled half way round my body – by 9pm. So this editor’s note is to give massive props to two of my youngest writers for their work this month. Outline wouldn’t exist without our volunteers – young and old – and of course our hilarious, accepting readers two, but for two 18 year olds to be so driven, intelligent and reliable, and professional enough to talk to two massive touring bands, really makes me proud. Don’t think I’m running some kinda wordy sweatshop here now – I may not pay them, but thanks is enough, right? Well done Ellie and Beatrice, you can do the whole thing next month, no skin off my banana. We’ve also given some of our regular content a bit of a spruce up too, so enjoy. We want to keep a little sparkle in the relationship; it’s been a long 13 years between you, our readers and us. You might make the effort too. Put on a bit of Demis Roussos and call me Abigail. God, I’m getting old.
