THE DAY THE
ROBOTS CAME
32 /February 2014/
outlineonline.co.uk
SOUNDS LIKE Abrasive guitars and pounding drums; ambient drones intersected with heartbreaking strings; swirling dark noise with flecks of light and hope. Te sound of machines coming to ruin your world. Or two attractive men making wonderful noises together.
INFLUENCES Godspeed You Black Emperor, Mogwai, YCNI:M, 65daysofstatic, creepy YouTube videos at 4am, sexy jazz.
BIOGRAPHY Te Day Te Robots Came: a blistering 2 piece from Norwich playing instrumental rock music with a sound all their own. Taking the best parts of music they enjoy and smashing it together for their own personal enjoyment; big soundscapes and songs which will drill their way into your ears exactly how you want them to. Blood, sweat, sparks and cables have all gone into the creation of the band and their songs, to bring something new and exciting to you. Bzzt.
RELEASES Debut EP (title TBC) - 2014
