If we didn’t have the desire to make the most out of our lives, post-divorce or not, we wouldn’t have taken the risk in starting this company. Embracing one’s creativity after divorce or any traumatic event has the power to heal. Whether you start a new business, draw, write, sing, dance, knit or paint yourself silver to be a street entertainer, that’s better than sitting on the couch feeling sorry for yourself. Don’t participate in self- defeating behaviors. Ask yourself who you want to be and go after your dreams. Who are you ready to become now that the last chapter in your life closed in divorce and you embark on the next? Embrace the new unencumbered you with creative flare! Let creativity flow through you. Forgive the trespasses against you and move on. Holding onto bitterness and strife helps no one. Not you and certainly not your children. If you didn’t get the settlement you wanted in your divorce, get over it. Stop complaining to friends. Move on. You have the power to create the life you want. All it takes is creative thinking. Let go of your fears and become a member of the post-divorce success club! We’re waiting for you.
