festivities to them - chuck on a Santa hat and stand at the front. People will love you AND you’ll look cool.

On 1st December, why not celebrate the start of advent with Le Juki at Te Bicycle Shop? Well? Why not? It’s all about hand made percussion and melodic jolty vocals. It’ll make you wanna kind of dance but there ain't much room at the Bicycle Shop so you can maybe just sup on cider and treat everyone to some deep shoulder action.

Jonathan Wilson brings his prog-country vibes to Norwich Arts Centre on the 2nd. He’s fresh off supporting Neil frickin’ Young in Europe, so that’s all you need to know really.

On the 3rd you can enjoy a lovely pint at Cinema City whilst wrapping your ears around the sounds of Komiza + Te Wash presented by OST.

Haim play the LCR on the 4th! Yes! Fleetwood Mac mixed with Hanson and what a mix that is! Tis band is a true pleasure to experience. I, for one, can’t wait.

On the 4th head to the Waterfront Studio for Hecate Enthroned with Verdelet, Reign of Perdition and Nocturna. Hecate was an ancient goddess with three heads or something. Not sure you’ll get any Victorian freak show vibes here but good times are probably in good supply.

BUT! Quasi - with the one and only Janet Weiss (Sleater Kinney, Wild Flag) - hit up NAC on the 12th as well for tweeOFF! and it’ll be said promoters’ final show of the year, so go and shoe shuffle with the best of ‘em.

Te day after (13th) we have WombatWombat’s 13th birthday and Xmas party at NAC feat. Drugstore with She Makes War and BUOYS. Tey have nibbles and treats too. Yay!

Te Tilting Sky presents Te Sharps at the Waterfront Studio on the 14th OR you can check out White Lies with the excellent Frankie Rose [pictured] in support at the LCR. She used to be in Crystal Stilts, Vivian Girls AND Dum Dum Girls, did you know that?! Do you care? Why don’t you care?!

Lewcal boyz Te Darkness make a welcome return to the LCR on the 16th. Maybe they’ll play that Xmas song they did? Nice bit of Lowestoft tinged Christmas cheer for you.

It all goes a bit quiet in Jan but I already know of a few musical treats you can work off your turkey too. For now, have a super festive period. I hope you eat your weight in finger food.
