installs Honoring a Classic
SUBMITTED BY: JOEY DELLO RUSSO OF HOUSE OF HOT RODS, MANSFIELD, TEXAS
Tis 1964 Chevy C10 Pickup was submitted to House of Hot
Rods by Wylie Clough, an Armed Forces Veteran who grew up in and around the truck since he was 5-years-old. It took Clough and his family two tours in Afghanistan and more than four years of work to complete the renovation, which included all fabrication work, power train, wiring, suspension, brakes and the wooden bed. To honor the history of the truck and what it means to Clough, Joey Dello Russo and his team at House of Hot Rods performed the install, restored the interior and repainted the vehicle. Te truck features two pairs of JL Audio C2-650’s (6 1/2 Components with one-inch tweeters and individual crossovers) and two JL Audio W0v2’s (10-inch sub- woofers). A Kenwood BT-652 Deck and a JL Audio XL700/5 amp power the sounds. Other features include a custom built box, kick panels and door panels wrapped in two-toned tan leather and a flush-mounted amp.
