Custom Auto Rexburg Gears Up for Winter As their local community prepares for another typically frigid


winter, the staff at Custom Auto Rexburg near Yellowstone National Park in eastern Idaho recently took the time to give their shop a facelift that they hope will give customers a different impression than they are accustomed to seeing. Barry Pierce and his employees originally had a concrete show- room floor but have since added carpet and repainted the store in order to give it a fresher look. They followed up by rearranging a few displays. “I think it gave it a warmer feel,” Pierce said. “With the concrete


floor, it looked like a warehouse. We made it more comfortable, and people are willing to stay around longer. What we did definitely helped.”


When snow hit in early November, Custom Auto Rexburg began running a promotion for remote starts, which Pierce said has in- creased sales a bit. “When it starts to get cold, these become popular,” Pierce said.


“We get so many phone calls right now.” However, Pierce added that overall, sales have been up for the


store, which he stated is due to the fact that Custom Auto Rexburg does more than just car audio accessories. “We also do bed liners, lift kits; we do everything, so we’re always
