VERIZON TELEMATICS


Previous Appearances: None; first year Technology on Display: Verizon Telematics will be showcasing an updated suite of telematics services for auto OEMs, including Safety & Security, Convenience, Navigation, Diagnostics, and Infotainment features. The company will be showing new features being added to telematics services, such as Wi-Fi hotspot and streaming audio. Addi- tionally, Verizon Telematics will be showcasing their aftermarket and fleet telematics solutions in addition to services for automotive OEMs. Future Vision of the Connected Car: To provide industry-leading expertise and a unique combination of assets across the entire telematics value chain, accelerating the time required from idea to implementation What Will Define a Successful Show: Connecting with industry influenc- ers, the opportunity to promote Verizon’s role as a contributor in the telematics ecosystem and communicate their view on key factors that may be instrumental for driving the industry forward in the future


VOICEPARK


Previous Appearances: None; first year Technology on Display: The VoicePark Parking System, a voice-guided, turn-by-turn mobile parking app that guides drivers by voice to the closest available parking space in real-time. The device is also a sensor system and backend historical reporting system Future Vision of the Connected Car: Considering that one third of all metropolitan traffic is not composed of people driving to a destination, but of drivers who have already arrived and are looking for a place to park, the VoicePark system pilot program looks to save people time and money (from gas) when looking for parking What Will Define a Successful Show: To demonstrate to attendees how the VoicePark system is changing the nature of the urban park- ing experience


ZOOX


Previous Appearances: None; first year Technology on Display: Zoox is a Level-4 autonomous electrical vehicle company debuting at the 2013 Connected Car Expo. The company was unavailable to provide further information. 
