What We want From Automakers: “I would say accessibility. Some vehicles are very hard to take apart and it puts us at more risk for damage to the vehicle. The industry as a whole tries to focus on integrating the best we can, some better than others. I think the carmak- ers know that a good percentage of people want to modify their vehicle; it’s human nature. So make it not so complicated. Maybe a carmaker certification program that helps us learn the systems of the vehicles would benefit everyone, so we can be better prepared to deal with the amazing technology they put in.”
