• Associate solicitor, John Dingle (left), has joined the property law team of Thames Valley solicitors Blandy & Blandy in Reading, from Morgan Cole. Dingle is experienced in a wide range of transactions, including the acquisition and disposal of commercial and residential developments and investments, secured lending, and public and private health sector work. Emma Elkington (right) qualified as a solicitor in September 2012 and joins Blandy & Blandy from Southampton firm, Coffin Mew. She has experience in commercial landlord and tenant work, investment sales and purchases, secured lending and pension property transactions. Jannicke


Brar has recently completed her training contract at the firm and on qualification as a solicitor has joined the property team as an assistant solicitor, working with Katja Wigham. Also joining is Lesley Quinn (centre), a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (GCILEx), who has worked for the past seven years at Dickens & Co, Crowthorne. Quinn specialises in residential conveyancing, including freehold, leasehold transactions, probate sales and matrimonial property transfers. The property team, together with its partners Jane Gunnell and Katja Wigham, is ranked in Chambers UK 2013 and The Legal 500 2012.


• Oxford recruitment consultancy Allen Associates has appointed Jacqui Dalziel (pictured) to head its growing HR division. Dalziel has 10 years’ HR and recruitment experience gained in Oxfordshire while working for a search and selection agency as well as in-house for a multi-national provider of school holiday camps. She has been appointed to head Allen Associates’ HR team, which is led by managing director Kate Allen. Allen Associates specialises in permanent and temporary roles in HR, PA and administration, marketing and finance. As part of its expansion, the consultancy has also recently recruited Hannah Burton to its temporary division. Burton successfully


brings her experience of working in a fast-paced event- management environment and her ability to build lasting relationships, to her new role. She works closely with the head of the temporary division, Hannah Bush, who has recently been promoted to managing consultant.


• Lucy Dixon, senior manager in accounts and business advisory in Baker Tilly’s Basingstoke office, has been promoted to director. Dixon advises an array of businesses in the area, from start-


ups and sole traders to limited companies, and her expertise is focused on accounts compliance and tax-planning, supporting business owners through the whole process. Following Baker Tilly's acquisition of RSM Tenon in September, this is one in a series of senior promotions involving nine partners and 11 directors nationally, and a combination of Baker Tilly and former RSM Tenon staff. Nick Parker, office managing partner for Basingstoke, said: "Lucy’s promotion acknowledges her contribution and success and she will be an integral part of the firm going forward."
