Live 24-Seven -Wining & Dining Asha’s...

the choice of celebrities...

Multi-award winning and the choice of celebrities, Asha's Contemporary Indian Bar & Restaurant is Birmingham's only international Indian restaurant and has a reputation as ‘the’ place to dine and drink.

Located on Newhall Street in the heart of the business district just a 5 minute walk from the designer shops and city centre, the stylish bar lounge area is popular with after work drinkers who make the most of both the happy hour and the legendary cocktails whose ‘legendary status’ is maintained thanks to regular training from London’s experts.

Combining the delights of North West Indian cuisine with contemporary decor, Asha’s offers its diners a sense of modern Indian luxury. The dining experience is all about excellence, offering only the finest fresh ingredients, quality meats and wonderful spices – some of which are top secret – combined with the talented chefs who work their magic to create delicious dishes that are beautifully presented and very generous in size. This is Asian cuisine at its finest, with all the chefs handpicked from 5 star hotels across India, ensuring they have authentic proven talent. They're then taken to Dubai to be trained in the style of Asha's before making their way to Birmingham, a journey that ends with a taste experience that's second to none.

Whether you’re drinking cocktails in the lounge or dining in one of the stylish booths or tables in the restaurant, there’s always a great buzz and atmosphere – often accompanied by a few animated whispers as yet another celebrity is spotted enjoying one of the delicious dishes! Regular faces include the likes of renowned chef Heston Blumenthal, singer Jay Sean and Bollywood greats such as Anil Kapoor and Rriyanka Chopra, people that return time and again.

The discreetly placed awards cabinet pays homage to Asha’s accolades, the restaurant has been included in the Michelin Guide consistently from 2009 to 2013, it’s won Best Restaurant in the West Midlands Curry Awards, Best Restaurant in the UK at the Diners Choice Awards 2010, 2011 and 2012 and most recently a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence 2013 for the high scoring guest feedback – the awards are genuinely too many to mention here. Whilst feeling most welcome, you also feel part of an elite club when drinking and dining at Asha’s, you feel lucky to have found it amongst the many restaurants in the Midlands.

In addition to the lounge bar and restaurant area, Asha’s also boast three meeting rooms and a large private dining room that can seat 16. Always one to reward their regular guests,
