gear for offroading in 4x4s in the abundant countryside and hills around Glasgow. A good place, just an hour’s drive from the city, is Crieff Hydro. It has a 40-acre course around what was once a sand and gravel quarry. Tere are also plenty of “driving

Indulge in a dram, or two, or three

Whisky may be the water of life (in Gaelic, at least), but how many of your clients can actually tell a Speyside whisky from a lowland dram? Or understand why there are significant differences between different styles? Tere is a great richness of whisky

knowledge for clients to explore and experience on the palate. Tasting sessions are a good way to coax clients away from their usual dram, and arm them with trivia to regale their pals. Beter than just popping down the pub and ordering a selection, these are led by an experienced whisky expert. Tese types of events are not just for

whisky drinkers either. Tastings can be a good way to introduce even alcopop guzzlers to the joy of the national drink. You may want to offer your clients a disclaimer before such events though – that you “shall hitherto not be held responsible for the condition of heads the morning aſter”.
