Piemonte

The most well known wines produced in the provinces of Piemonte include Barolo and Barbaresco, and the sparkling wine Asti Spumante. Most part (about 90%) of the winemaking process in Piemonte region takes place around the towns of Alba (Cuneo), Asti and Alessandria.
