Rome & the Southern Route Discover Rome, Amalfi Coast & Apulia 11 Days /10 Nights
DAY 1: Friday. ROME. (Welcome cocktail & Dinner). Welcome to Italy! Upon arrival at Rome airport please proceed through the Passport Control and collect your luggage inside the customs area. Transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the Eternal City. In the evening, meeting at hotel with tour host which will provide information regarding the program and literature of the destination that are about to be visited and will offer a welcome cocktail and light dinner @ 7:30pm. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 2: Saturday. ROME. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner). After breakfast, Guided visit of the Coliseum. At the end of the tour, we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, continue the exploration of Rome with a visit of the Vatican Museum. You will explore Vatican art and its history. Discover the masterpieces of Greek and Roman ancient art, works of Raphael, Michelangelo and Caravaggio, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica. After the end of the tour, return to the hotel by private coach. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 3:
Sunday.ROME. (Breakfast). Breakfast at the hotel. Today is at leisure. Go explore magnificent Rome and all it has to offer or venture to Tuscany for the day. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 4: Monday. POMPEI/SORRENTO (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Early morning transfer to Sorrento En route stop in Pompei and visit one of the most incredible sites in the world. After a light tasty lunch, continue on to Sorrento, where you learn about the town and your activities in the area. Tonight the dinner will be served in a local restaurant in the heart of Sorrento. Overnight in Sorrento.
DAY 5:Tuesday. CAPRI (Breakfast) Today, visit of Capri with guide. Capri is an enchanting and picturesque island made of limestone rock. A “paradie of idleness” surrounded by the bluest of seas. The Flower covered island of Capri has been enchanting visitors for centuries. It’s still one of the Mediterranean’s must-see places. Late afternoon arrival in Sorrento. Overnight in Sorrento.
DAY 6: Wednesday FREE DAY (Breakfast) SORRENTO is an ideal location to discover the beauties of the region. Your tour host will provide you with a wide range of opportunities or you may reserve your excursion in advance via your travel agent. Overnight in Sorrento.

DAY 7:
Thursday.AMALFI DRIVE (Breakfast, Dinner) Today enjoy the visit of one of the most intriguing coastline in the world. Amalfi, Positano, Minori,
Vietri...The small houses are all huddled on top of each other, the breathtaking cliffs, the lemon and olve trees, the small beaches, the Saracen and medieval watch towers, the narrow roads make of this place a unique in the world, so precious to be listed in the Unesco World Heritage. Return to Sorrento. Farewell dinner will be served in a panoramic restaurant on the hills of Sorrento. Overnight in Sorrento.
DAY 8:
Friday.MATERA (Breakfast, Dinner) After breakfast, transfer to Apulia region along the beautiful ancient road that connects the west of Italy to the Adriatic Coast, just in front of Greece. En route stop in Matera, where you will have free time to visit the town. Mater has gained international fame for its ancient town, the “Sassi di Mater” (means “Stones of Matera”) The Sassi originate from pre- historic settlement and have been inhabited for thousands of years without interruption. Early afternoon departure for Polignano, a magnificent small village along the sea. Dinner at hotel and overnight in Polignano.
DAY 9: Friday. ALBEROBELLO & OSTUNI (Breakfast, Dinner) The morning is free to enjoy the village of Polignano. Go to the beach or just relax at the hotel. In the afternoon, you will meet your driver for a full immersion in the Apulia way of life. The first stop is Alberobello, the town protected by UNESCO for its unique architecture of Trulli. Continue on to Ostuni, the white town. You will enjoy a tasty dinner in Castellana, with the best of local tradition. Overnight in Polignano.
DAY 10: Saturday. LECCE (Breakfast, Dinner) Today, you will have a private guided visit of Lecce the city of Baroque, a glorious architectural confection of palaces and churches intricately sculpted from the soft local sandstone. In the afternoon, return to the hotel and enjoy your free time in Polignano. Dinner in a local restaurant in town. Overnight in Polignano.
DAY 11: Sunday (Breakfast) Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Bari airport. End of Services.
