Tight curves and low bridges along the cylinder’s final route required stops for readjusting the load to accommodate the obstacles. Equipment shipping was not the only logistical challenge. Zhejiang Jingxing to start making tissue with two Andritz machines
One of Asia’s largest linerboard producers, Zhejiang Jingxing Paper in China is moving into tissue production with the order of two tissue machines with steel Yankees from Austria-based Andritz for its mill at Pinghu city in Zhejiang Province. The machines will be used for the production of high-
quality facial and toilet paper with start-up scheduled for end of 2014 and mid-2015 respectively. The PrimeLineST tissue machines are designed for a speed of 1,900 m/min with a
width of 2.85 m. They will be equipped with 18-feet PrimeDry Steel Yankees with head insulation. The steel
Yankees, in combination with a steam-heated hood, enable a high drying capacity with the minimum of energy costs.
