However, our local knowledge is backed by efficient and cost-effective support services provided by our head office in Gothenburg.
Q. What type of services are these? A. Our Customer Support System (CSS) includes a variety of solutions for booking space, tracking consignments, obtaining quotes and making payments – invoices can be received and processed electronically.
The system also enables customers to check timetable changes, maintain logs of their transactions and monitor shipping statistics all at no extra cost.
Q. How easy is it to book space with Stena Line? A. In fact, there are CSS tools for large and small customers. Our Extranet booking system has been designed for small to medium-sized companies whilst StenaConnect is intended for larger organisations making regular block bookings. Q. What is the thinking behind the establishment of Stena Sealine?
A. This company is a joint venture between Stena and Sea Lines Shipping to operate scheduled services across the Black Sea between Turkey and the Ukraine. Being first in the field, we aim to become the market leader in RoRo transport in the rapidly developing economies of the region.
Q. How do you see Stena Line Freight developing over the next few years, particularly with regard to pulp and paper? A. As we increase our knowledge of the paper industry, we’ll be able to tailor our services to satisfy its needs. New routes,
improved port facilities and more effective connections with other forms of transport are all factors that will drive our growth. We will also continue to expand operations outside our traditional areas and will soon be able to announce a new route in another part of the world.
