YOUNG farmers from all over Walesembraced their Celtic heritage for the YFC competitions at the Royal Welsh Show. The theme was ‘The Celts Then and Now’ and it was the Celtic cousins from Ceredigion who were celebrating after amassing the most points in competitions. Members had notched up wins in the dancing, craft, men’s tug of war, Celtic chariot race and rural craft competitions to see Ceredigion on the way to the coveted trophy. Brecknock were placed second overall, with Carmarthenshire third.
