2013 Festival Guide

PRE-FESTIVAL PLAYLIST

01 White Noise Disclosure

5-8 SEPT 2013 Robin Hill Country Park, Isle of White BESTIVAL T

he ingeniously named Bestival is back. Dubbed ‘Te Isle Of White’s little brother’ it surely has a chunky load of expectation on its back. Te line up is, once again, a glorious and envied creation. Like always they’ve mixed

mainstream music with the more alternative bands, which brings their appeal to a whole new range of audience members. With a jumble of Rudimental and Disclosure juxtaposed with Bombay Bicycle Club and James Blake, the acts unexpectedly meld together to form a diversely exceptional line-up. Te Isle of White is a renowned location for festivals, so it’s only fitting for Bestival’s previous success. With this year’s fancy dress confirmed to be ‘HMS Bestival’, following a nautical theme, you can expect to see a wide spattering of seamen (ahem), ranging from sailors to merpeople. As well as the outstanding line-up, Bestival has a plethora of non-musical entertainment up for grabs. Te Grand Palace Of Entertainment encompasses just that, with a range of comedy, cabaret, games and various other oddities. Bestival is brimming with creative elements, which is illustrated on their website www.bestival.net, designed in such a way to embody the artistic vibe of the Festival and give a small taste of what Bestival 2013 is set to be like. For more information regarding the line-up or general festival information visit the aforementioned webbysite.
